Protea Hotel Midrand has completed a refurbishment. Part of the renovation, all the 177 rooms received new cupboards, desks, pedestals and headboards as well as additional plug points and improved lighting.

Conference facilities
The conference room  accommodates up to 220 delegate; an executive boardroom, seats up to 12 delegates; two additional boardrooms, seat 14 delegates each; and an executive office, seats up to 6 delegates.
