Global Exhibitions Day (GED) is a month away, taking place on 3 June 2020. This year, the need to showcase the value of the exhibition industry is especially critical, which is why UFI if going to focus the message of GED 2020 as ‘exhibitions are key to rebuilding economies’.

“So, no matter where you are, or what your role is, you are invited to celebrate this GED together with us. Let’s share the message of how we are key to rebuilding after this global pandemic.”

UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, explains: “The exhibition industry represents business: big and small. It represents trade: global and local. It represents: starting and renewing. And it represents people close by and across the world.

“So, no matter where you are, or what your role is, you are invited to celebrate this GED together with us. Let’s share the message of how we are key to rebuilding after this global pandemic.”

UFI suggests a number of different ways to get involved with GED 2020, which include:

  • Focus on positive exhibition experiences in past. Share memorable moments from your events, and show the world beneficial connections made at events are for businesses.
  • Focus on the future. Share how your event can help to reconnect and rebuild all types of businesses and industries.
  • Focus on people. Share pictures of your team, your customers, your kids, your dog, yourself, to show the world exactly what the 3.2 million lives that are part of the global exhibition industry look like.
