The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) is taking its Speed Marketing Sessions online for the first time, to assist in the recovery of the tourism sector. These sessions will be held on Zoom and will bring tourism products and both local and international buyers together to discover and re-discover new business opportunities.

“We trust that this platform will help to foster long standing business partnerships.”

“As the TGCSA, we are committed to contributing towards the recovery of the sector from the adverse impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. So we are excited to be able to provide a platform for tourism industry products and services to be able to showcase their offerings to the relevant buyers. We trust that this platform will help to foster long standing business partnerships,” says Amanda Kotze-Nhlapo, Acting Chief Quality Assurance Officer.

The sessions will carry the same theme from year’s World Tourism Day, which is Rural Development and Tourism. As such, the sessions will recognize the positive role that tourism can play in the development of rural communities, while also highlighting many of South Africa’s lesser-known gems in rural areas.

South African Tourism encourages all tourism businesses and service providers to take part in these sessions.
