Flock Eventing Platform, a local company that offers digital solutions for the events industry, is strategically expanding its international presence and will open its Lisbon, Portugal, office in January 2021.
Mike Lysko, Founder and CEO of Flock, says, “After tremendous success in the South African market over the past few years, we have decided 2021 is the ideal time to expand internationally. We identified Lisbon as the primary location to establish an office to meet the growing demand in the European and UK events industries.”
Flock’s app-based technology supports planners hosting live, virtual or hybrid events, and integrates with customised event websites, custom-branded mobile apps and RSVP suites, all through one central tool.
Over the past five years, Flock has supported more than 2 000 events in 36 countries for 450 clients – including MTN, Oracle, PSG, SA Tourism and Sanofi. The need for these types of solutions has increased in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, as they enable events to be held virtually and audiences to remain connected even during lockdown.
